Laboratory Services

Once geochemical samples are collected, they are sent to specialized laboratories for analysis. These labs use advanced techniques to measure the concentrations of elements and minerals within the samples, providing critical data for interpreting the mineralization and potential of an area. Nigeria lacks the presence of internationally accredited laboratories which slows down the exploration journey due to the turn around time with laboratories that can take up to 8 weeks.

Sample Preparation

At Titan Minerals, we have constructed our internal laboratory services that can narrow down the cost and timeline required to get an understanding of the type and size of mineralized zones being explored. A preparation facility is available in Abuja with crushing, sieving, drying, and pulverizing capabilities. LIBS analysers to analyse lithium content are currently available.

XRF Analysis

XRF is a rapid, non-destructive analytical technique used to identify and quantify elemental concentrations in a wide range of materials. LIBS Analysis

LIBS is a rapid analytical technique that uses a focused laser pulse to generate a plasma on a material’s surface. The emitted light from this plasma is measured to determine the material’s elemental composition. Capable of detecting lithium and other key elements, LIBS is widely applied in battery research, mining, and environmental studies, offering fast, in-situ analysis with minimal sample preparation.
